Toni Lambert is a litigation attorney with nearly a decade of experience across both civil and criminal law as a trial attorney and former Public Defender. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, Toni graduatedย magna cum laudeย from Brooklyn Law School, which she attended due to its emphasis on the intersection of social justice and the law. Toni began her career at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, where she represented multi-national companies and gained years of experience fighting for employee freedom of movement, while also maintaining a robust pro bono caseload representing clients in immigration matters and assisting nonprofits with employment legal issues. Toni also served as the Global Chair for the firm’s LGBTQ affinity group. Upon exiting Orrick to pursue her passion for social justice, Toni represented commercially sexually exploited children before going on to work as a Public Defender, representing marginalized communities and litigating many issues of first impression in criminal court.
Toni’s brings to her practice an in-depth understanding of defense tactics and strategies, as well as extensive trial experience fighting for justice. In her free time, Toni serves as a mentor and youth advocate. She enjoys reading psychological thrillers, playing the violin, and imagining herself in the WNBA. Toni speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
